**If you are getting bloods that have been ordered by a Private or Public Consultant it involves a lot of Doctor, Nurse and Admin time. The bloods have to taken, the results screened and reviewed, patients contacted with results if there is an abnormality and results must be forwarded to the ordering Consultant. As you can appreciate this takes a lot of time and so this charge is being applied.

€65 – Telephone consultation with GP to issue required prescription, which is send directly to your pharmacy

Reports / Letters
€25+ - Letters requested by patients, depending on complexity, minimum charge €20
€300+ - Reports requested by patients are charged from €300 depending on complexity. These include Medicolegal reports, PIAB and solicitors reports.
